Minimum standard review – all classes!
After marking your first assignments, it appears that a few people could use a little bit of a grammar review. The PowerPoint presentation in this post goes over the basics of the Minimum Standard of Correctness.

English 2210 Beowulf and Anglo Saxon Links
I’ve added a bunch of links to the blogroll. Check out what’s there. There’s also, I just learned, a video of Beowulf in the library; you might want to have a look at it. Here’s a picture of one of the pages of the manuscript from the British Library.

There are some fun articles, and even more fun pictures at Regia Anglorum, a site devoted to recreating Anglo Saxon life.
