Minimum standard review – all classes!
After marking your first assignments, it appears that a few people could use a little bit of a grammar review. The PowerPoint presentation in this post goes over the basics of the Minimum Standard of Correctness.

English 2210 Beowulf and Anglo Saxon Links
I’ve added a bunch of links to the blogroll. Check out what’s there. There’s also, I just learned, a video of Beowulf in the library; you might want to have a look at it. Here’s a picture of one of the pages of the manuscript from the British Library.
You can see more images from medieval manuscripts if you check out the British Library’s Turning the Pages exhibit.
There are some fun articles, and even more fun pictures at Regia Anglorum, a site devoted to recreating Anglo Saxon life.
You can find more images of artifacts if you go to the British Museum’s website and search for “Anglo Saxon”.
The Bayeux Tapestry has lots of great images online, including this awesome animated version.
