Suggestions for finding Children’s books

If you are looking for good quality children’s lit, this page links to a number of different awards sites.
For those of you specifically looking for feminist works, or stuff that addresses gender issues, this page has a number of bibliographies – it has a particularly strong fairy tale section. The Amelia Bloomer Project presents recommended reading lists for a variety of categories of children and young adults – this is a good one for finding recently published books.
New Moon is a feminist magazine for girls; they don’t seem to have book reviews on their site, but their resources page might be helpful.
